VJ Mamiko
VJ Mamiko Kushida is a member of VJ duo "Avant-Garde" from Kyoto Japan. She started VJing in 2005. Her visual concept is "Avant-Garde" and"Surrealism" She has performed with well-known Japanese DJs at the biggest parties in Japan. She is one of the most outstanding VJs in Japan. She moved to New York in 2008. Since then, She has been VJing for the Grammy Award Winning music producers and DJs such as Frankie Knecklses and Easy Mo Bee. She has been VJing for the world’s most well known DJs such as Carl Craig, Jeff Mills, Derrick Carter, Miguel Migs, Mark Farina, Alan Fitzpatrick, Jody Winsternoff and more. She has been VJing at New York’s top notch clubs such as Cielo, Sullivan room, Santos, Public Assembly, (le) Poisson Rouge, Highline Ball room, Music hall of Williamsburg and more. In 2014, She nominated for Best Visual Artist at Brooklyn Night Life Award.
