Aktionskuenstler Brandstifter (= firestarter) ist an artist, author, experimental musician and performer from Germany. His main work Asphaltbibliotheque, a collection of lost & found sheets of paper he is picking up since 1998 in the whole world was interdisciplinary directed in Berlin, Vienna, Rajasthan (India) and as a resident artist in New York in 2009, where he started SK Orchestra with Michael Durek and Wizards of Oi with Aaron Moore. 2013 he did a Lost & Found Europe tour with Pas Musique that was documented by catalogue and CD on Alrealon Musique and exhibited at Goodbyebluemonday for EMF-4. Brandstifter's sound art is released on various labels, recently in the vinyl series FLUXUS +/- by PsychKG with Thurston Moore and Ben Patterson. In Mainz he is running the art brut label FLUX ON DEMAND, the collage collab series ANTIPODES and the gallery space Walpodenakademie.
