The 5th annual Experi-MENTAL Festival will be from September 26th at Spectrum in NYC and at Goodbye Blue Monday continuing on September 27, 28, and 29th.
This year's edition is curated by Robert L. Pepper (PAS Musique) and Brett Zweiman ($50 Dollar Trumpet/Queen Elephantine).
The festival focuses on new and innovative techniques of sound technique and performance. We are focused in developing a network of experimental arts that are supportive of their peers. It’s not about ego but about community. Some previous artists who performed at the past festivals were Richard Lainhart, Percy Jones, IDM Theftable, Prehistoric Horse, FluiD, Violet, Rapoon, Al Margolis, and Blue Sausage Infant. The Experi-MENTAL Festival is donation only.
